Harry Potter Series

most of us has either seen or read Harry Potter's Series

in this thread u would discuss the book u read or the movie

so every few days we will change the topic we r discussing

for example, today's topic is what do u think of the books/movies u had seen/read until now??

and so after a while i will change the topic to something else like

what do u think will happen to Voldemort, how is he going to die in the last book, and etc.

since we just started i will bring pictures of the books

i like this one i thought it was pretty hilarious

it wasnt that fun i only liked how the twins got beards

in this movie i liked Luna's character lool she made me laugh at her

its known that they will be two movies

our very first discussion question is: what is ur favorite book/movie in Harry potter so far??,, and what did u like, and dislike about it

the second discussion question is:
book one chapter one (or the first movie the part when dumbldore, Hagrid and McGonagall were putting harry in front of his aunt's house): do you think he was better of being put in a wizard house where he knows people are going to respect him? what were things u thought useless,, and things that were important

the third discussion question is: book one, chapters 2-4 (the part in which they go to the zoo, harry receives the letter with his name on it, and when hagrid tells him whom he really is), what did u like and dislike,, discuss it in general... was there something u thought they should have included, like what was he thinking of when hagrid was talking to him.. what did you think was funny

the fourth discussion question: in chapters 5-6 (the part in which he went with Hagrid to Diagon Alley and when he went to skool with the train,,, weasleys)

why do u think everything he saw was unbelievable, like he might be dreaming or something (Diagon Alley),, and what do u think he felt when he saw the Weasleys (i mean was he jealous, did he laugh at them, or did he wish to be part of the family)

and ofcourse Y to all answers

everyone is very welcome to discuss anything with us,, u dont have to read the book or watch the movie to join,, u can also answer the simple Qs or ask us Qs so then we can explain more to you about what we think

I have seen the movie of harry potter first , before reading the novel

The movie was the reason why I read the whole series
In general I believe that the novels were much bettter than the movies
in the movies they didnt include so many nice parts , like the house elf part in harry potter 4 ( forgot the elf's name O_o )

I will be back to give my opinion about the first book and the first movie

readin the books is very different from watchin the movies

om the movies they dont include all the funny things like marioma said

from the last book i like what happened before the wedding (we will discuss it soon, and u will know what i mean), and the joke Fred(or George) said in Potterwatch hhhh it was a very funny one and the only one hhh

in the 6th book/movie i liked the bloody part when Hp casted the black art spell on Draco,, when dumbldore died,, and all the jokes made by the twins (they werent alout though),, and i liked what happened when Ron was injured and was replaced by a nutter hhh

in the 5th movie/book i liked how Bellatrix was dancing around hhhh " i killed serious black" hhhhh,, and i liked Luna's character hhh she was so dum hhh

in the 4th movie/book i hated it all

i thought it was waste of time.. i knew that the person wasnt Mad-Eye,, but i liked how the eye moves around

in the 3rd movie/book .. the fact that Draco cried because of a shallow injury made me LOL at him ,, and serious's pictures were funny (the prison pics)

the second movie/book was ok,, but i cant believe the fact that Ginny stole the diary


and the first movie/book ,, i liked how Dudley (big D) treated HP,, lool and i liked how the snake locked him up in the cave hhh that was funny

i am a bit strange lool i first read the book and then watch the movie,, and then i always say things they didnt mention hhh

i watched all the movies with ma sis,, but she didnt read the books and so they were the worst nights for her hhh coz i kept saying "WTH what about this part when this this and that happened hhhhh"

and she gets pissed off hhhh and leave hhh

and i Loved Peeves hhhh

"potty Loves Monney hhhhh"

that was a funny one hhh

its ok as i said earlier if u did not read the book or remember the movies

what we will do is discuss them in details,, and this is where u can join ,, u could ask Qs to us like what happened and why did it happen etc

like u said u liked the second movie,, so lets say somebody will ask u "why did Ron get the letter from his mother?", what was it called,, and how did he feel like being laughed at

simple things like that

so even if u dont remember the movies or books its ok u can still participate by askin Qs or askin for a short summery

i hope we had something like that i would have sent one for u every day (btw its called howler i think)

The reason why I liked the first book so much , because the book was a gateway to that magical world of harry potter .
In the first book we were first introduces to the Hogwarts and that weird world of wizards
I enjoyed the book sooooooooooooooo much I couldn't let it down for a second till the last page

I liked the first movie as well , but not as much as the boo , because as I said earlier they didn't include so many nice parts

I liked the sixith book as well , and I cried when I reached the chapter whn doombldour died!!
the sixth movie is disappointing tooo , I ddint feel what I felt in doumblfdore scene! , it was not that emotional
the boook did a better job ^_^

I was so disappointed by the fourth movie as well. i expected so much !! they didn't include douby and the house elf in the kitchen at all!
and these elfs had a majotr role in the novel

OMG just the same as what i think

expt that for me i prefer the first book and the last book hhh

the house elf that was drunk in the kitchen was Winky loooooooool it was disaponting that the other elfs were covering her up and ashamed of her hhh ,, loool she was no use at all but to show how she changed from being a good house elf to a bad one who doesnt work

but Dobby and Kreacher were the best lool ,, i liked the parts when creacher swore at them hhh "mudblood and blood traiters filthing the house of my mistress" hhhhhhhhhhhhh

i also loved the 5th book the part when they were cleaning the house, and then kreacher would steal things and hide them hhhhhh,, and when he went inside the drawing room, where the kids were workin and he didnt know they were there and he was cursin at them hhh until Fred spoke to him hhh

yeah and as u said they didnt include all the fun parts hhh (like in the 6th movie kreacher and Dobby fighting about if Malfoy was good or not)..

am so shocked to hear u havent done both hhh

at least not even watch one of the movies
