“The Blue Bike and My sister”

In a new house is where we moved
With everything new, including toys
I saw something blue and fun
Tried to check it, but had no clue

When everything was in place
I ran outside, beside the stairs
Then saw that blue again
And it was a blue bike

I took my sister and the bike
On the last stair is where I stopped
Remembering the movies on TV
I pushed her off the stairs

To the bike she was still holding
Then she fell all 8 stairs with no pain
But sadly the bike was after her
On her head is where it landed
And only four years of age she was

The blood was all over the backyard
What did I know about it?
Not caring I ran to play with a friend
Leaving her there with the bike

Not knowing how she woke up
And went to my mother with the blood
Holding her hand into her forehead
Saying nothing and not tearing

My mom toke her as fast as she could
To the hospital is where she toke her
To close the huge hole on her forehead
A surgery was what they did

That mark never left her forehead
Reminding me with my crime
Until now it is clear on the forehead
Even though seven years had passed

Should I feel guilty for the past?
The time I didn’t recognize a thing
Not even my toes and knees
Should I have made her try on me?

The action was what I wanted to see
Wanting to see how she will be safe
What did I know by that time?
I was a little kid watching TV

Too much Indian movies was a disaster
When I see that the hero is fine
After jumping off twenty floors
As an adventuress kid I tried it
What did I know?

well you are not the one to blame because you were a little kid
and everyone did or was subject to similar incidents in their lives

so don't worry , at least the scar in your sister's forehead will remind you of what you did

and warns you of the bad consequences of reckless acts

no one asked her to accepted playing with me with her new bike,, and i even told her lets try it on the stairs hhhhh

its funny how the mark in her face is like this </> hhhhhh

and who ever asks her about it hhh she always say its me hhh but she didnt know y i did it hhhhhh

anyways it was a lesson for me "when u try to do like the movies RUN AWAY after ur crime is over"

Hello again Hamza, won't be mean this time and will tell you what I think of your poem..
First of all it's the best of your poems I've read so far, I could imagine things as I read the poem so you had a very good description for events and feeling and even reasons, that was excellent and I think you'll always be proud of what you've written.. The one thing annoying was you feeling guilty, I think you were only 7 then so you were just a kid and you didn't mean to hurt your sister, I blame the action films you used to watch.

Sorry for being rude earlier, I thought you were older trust me.

well the action movies were indian movies hhh

u know how they used to jump from 20th floor and not get hurt hhhh h
