Dear Roberto ,
There are only two weeks now before my trip begins . I’m very excited . I can hardly wait to see you .
My uncle has sent me my plane tickets , and I have received them already . I have written letters to both grandmothers , so they know when I’m coming . I haven’t seen my Grandmother Taylor in Chicago for two years . I haven’t seen Grandmother Brooke in Miami since I was ten .
I’ll stay in Chicago for a week .and I’ll be in Miami for another week . My plane will land in Caracas on June 14 , just one month from today . I’ll stay with my uncle for a month , until July 15 .He is very nice and loves so much .
What clothes will I need in Venezuela ? I haven’t bought anything yet . I’ve never visited outside the United States before . I’ve never flown alone before , either . I won’t be afraid .
My uncle will pick me up at the airport in Caracas . My mom says I won’t have any trouble . I hope not . ( just think – I’ll be a “ world traveller “ when this trip is over . )
I plan to visit some interesting monuments in Venezuela and I ‘ll taste the delicious food that I’ve always heard of . I’ll bring my camera with me so that I can take as many photographs as possible . It’s very important to know other countries and different habits ..
